Final Strike Martial Arts started in 2008 as Robles Martial Arts and around 2010 changed to Final Strike.
It has always been a passion of mine to teach and be a positive influence in the lives of children and adults through martial arts. Teaching thousands of children over the past 30 years has brought great joy in many forms to my life including amazing relationships that have bonded over the years.
I have promoted well over 200 black belts and trained up over 25 certified instructors over the years who have branched out all across the nation teaching martial arts in their own studios.
August 13th, 1990 – My wife and I opened our first club, operating 2 days a week, in Temecula CA at the SCEGA gymnastic center.
Early 1991 – We opened our first full time commercial studio in Temecula across from the old Gold’s Gym in the industrial area.
1992 – I was certified, Protech Training Instructor.
In 1994 & 1995, I went back to Korea on dignitarial trips, performing demos for the President of Korea and heads of State, among other events and meetings to bridge the relationships between Korean Taekwondo and American Taekwondo.
Between 1994-2003, I became the Producer/Director of the ATA World Championships Opening Ceremonies, a 5-day event in Little Rock, AR, for 25,000 people from around the world each year. For many of those years I was the choreographer for opening ceremony demos at the Nationals tournaments in Las Vegas as well as Orlando, Fl.
I tested at World Championships in 1995 for my 4th degree black belt. It was around this time frame that I first met Michael Robles, who by the way, went on to be one of the best black belts and instructors that ever trained with me.
Around ’95-96 I was one of the first instructors in the nation to begin teaching 3, 4, & 5 year old’s in the program for the first time.
In 1996, I opened a 2nd location in Murrieta, Ca and sold it 2 years later to a husband and wife team who were students.
In 2000, I received my 5th degree black belt, and was ranked 4th in the nation in Forms Competition.
In 2005, I received my 6th degree black belt.
In 2006, after a full year of intense training, I received the title of Master Instructor in the American Taekwondo Association.
2007 – Certified Haganah F.I.G.H.T. Instructor
In 2009 stepped away from teaching and pursued other projects.
In 2015, joined forces with Michael Robles and the staff at Final Strike as a 5th degree black belt in AMAI systems.
